Disrupting Dullness in the Age of Distractions



Living in the age of scrolling, skimming, and lol’ing has made us a lighter, more superficial, and fragile people. We have lost the ability to focus on what really matters and developed an allergy to seriousness. Our hearts faint too easily, and we have become numb to the spiritual realities of life. However, earnestness in our day is becoming all the more admirable for being rare.



The world is full of distractions that keep us from pursuing what is truly important. We are constantly bombarded by notifications, emails, social media posts, and other forms of information. It is easy to get caught up in the noise and chaos of the world and lose sight of God's purpose for our lives. That is why it is essential to disrupt the dullness that has taken hold of our lives and to seek after Christ with all our hearts, minds, and souls.



The Importance of Being Earnest



In a world that values superficiality and entertainment over depth and meaning, earnestness has become a rare and precious virtue.
